With the DIC Group’s resin synthesis and application technologies at its core, DIC Material Inc. provides unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins to a diverse range of customers. In keeping with the Group’s mission to “create enhanced value and utilize innovation to introduce socially responsible and sustainable products,” our company is committed to the development and supply of new products to resolve social issues.
We shall also continue to strive to develop next-generation products and new technologies that will lead to sustainable growth by leveraging and integrating the Group’s technical resources to address our customers’ technical issues and needs and actively propose practical solutions.

| February 2005 | DH Material Inc. (former company name, abbreviation: DHM) founded. Set up as a subsidiary to handle the unsaturated polyester resin business of Dainippon Ink and Chemicals (currently DIC Corporation) and Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd. (currently Hitachi Chemical Company, Ltd.), with its head office located in Tokyo’s Chiyoda Ward. Two production bases: The Sakai Plant (Osaka-fu, Takaishi-shi), and the Yamazaki Plant (Ibaraki-ken, Hitachi-shi) |
